Thief ants are tiny ants that often go after greasy foods, meat, and protein-based items. They can nest in wall voids, behind baseboards, or in small cracks, so they’re easy to miss at first. You might only notice fine trails near cupboards or countertops. Because nests are hidden, surface sprays usually don’t fix the problem.
