Argentine Ants

One of the most common types of ants encountered outside are known as Argentine ants. These pests are a bright orange colour and tend to form new nests from soil or mulch that’s been disturbed from one place to another by foot traffic. Argentine ants also prefer warm environments, so they tend to invade homes in many parts of Canada during the summer months.
