Northern House Mosquito (Culex)

 These mosquitoes are most active at dusk and night and often breed in standing water around homes. They can build up fast in warm weather, especially when water collects in gutters, containers, or low areas. Their bites make outdoor time uncomfortable. Reducing breeding sites is key, but it’s not always enough on its own. Mosquito treatments can help lower activity in yards.
